Someone recently asked me what motivates me to keep doing great work. After thinking for a minute, I realized it all comes down to one thing: I want to make videos that people remember.
My name is Bill Griepenstroh (Grip-en-straw) and I’m a Commercial Director and Editor with a branding a marketing agency called UNANIMOUS. I first started creating videos regularly in my late teen years just for fun attempting to get famous on YouTube (mostly unsuccessfully). But through that I discovered a love of writing, directing, telling stories that carried me into a career.
Throughout my 20’s I refined my technical and storytelling skills through whatever opportunity came my way as a solo videographer, but I was always frustrated by the ceiling I’d hit working alone. It wasn’t until my late 20’s that I started to specialize as a Director- I finally saw the power collaborating with other talented filmmaking specialists to help me reach a higher level than I ever could on my own.
Now my unique experience allows me to work with all brands and all budgets, producing memorable work for my clients that produces a return on their investment. Throughout the 15+ years I’ve been creating videos I’ve learned that the key to success in my job is to make the most of the time and resources I have available to me on every project. And I’ve learned that if I do that again and again- memorable work will inevitably follow.
